Company Overview

Tobin Jarrett Consulting is a consulting and coaching company based in Asheville, NC. Our mission is to help solopreneurs and small businesses to make more money and save time so they can focus on what matters most in their lives: growing their business, making a difference, spending time with their friends and family. We believe that by empowering small businesses to make a bigger impact through systems and automation, we are helping to create a better world. 

We fulfill this mission by working with businesses to design and implement strategic systems to streamline and automate many processes in their business, with a special marketing automation. 

The value we offer through our resources includes coaching, live events, training, pre-built campaign templates, blogs and newsletters.

Contractor Position Overview

This will be 10-20 hours per week to start but could expand to more hours, depending on various factors. It is a 1099/contractor scenario with flexible hours, so you work when you want.

We are of course looking to get the most value for our HR cost. It is our custom to have our applicants start out by letting us know the minimum hourly rate they ask to be paid. If an applicant makes it far enough through the process that it becomes relevant, we may do some negotiating from there. We handle the marketing, sales, initial onboarding, and project scope creation. You get to do the fun part: building cool stuff that helps business owners, teams, and the customers they serve!

Mission

The mission of the Implementation Specialist is to design and build the automated systems our clients need to grow! The position requires the ability to think creatively about how to achieve automation for our clients on deadline and potentially, in time, for us. 

This includes, but is not limited to outlining/mapping out of multi-channel campaigns; the integration of 3rd-party apps to enhance the functionality and power they can provide for our clients. 

Responsibilities
Implementation specialists are responsible for:

Staying current on the latest trends and technological advancements will be an important part of the role while ensuring that all visual assets adhere to Clients’ and product brand standards. 

1. Chunk projects down: Take project scope and chunk out the work, making estimates for how long you think each chunk will take and by when you can have your part(s) done.
2. Build / Implement: Reliably perform those parts of a given project that you own.
3. Update task / project mgmt. software: Updating Asana (our project/task management software) with relevant project updates, marking your tasks complete so the other team members are in the loop.
4. Meet with clients/team: Participating in meetings with the clients/other team members (up to one per week per client, but we often have weeks where we’re meeting little or not at all. Just depends.
5. Create clear documentation: Creating (Loom) screencast videos that train our clients on how to use what we’ve built for them. 
6. SOP’s: Referencing existing SOP’s and creating new ones where applicable
7. Time tracking: Tracking your time on a per-client/task basis using Toggl

Proficiencies:

• Ontraport Expert.  Excellent knowledge of Ontraport as well as ability to think in terms of “if/then”
• Technologically savvy. Familiarity with platforms such as Google Docs, Slack, project management software such as Asana, Zapier, PlusThis, etc.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
